Yes, it’s true: I have sold off my Iswara!

For those who have been following my blogs diligently until now, you should have guessed it by now. YES, I have sold off my old green monster, the Proton Iswara 1.3 Sedan Manual, bought in the year 1998. It’s no more, it’s history. Gone!

Thinking back, I can’t say that I hate the car that much. After all, it’s been with me for 10 years! 10 years is a long time for relationship to last. And ADP 7466 has served me well all these years. No, I do not hate the old car, in fact I love it. Err….. loved it. She was my first wife, we went back a long time ago! (I hope my current wife who bears me Yan Yan don’t get jealous for this! :P)

Here is the proof, in the place of the green hole-ridden monster, is a silver beast, the 2002 Corolla Altis parked in the car porch of my house.

I bought it second hand on 6th March 2008 after months of searching for a more suitable family sedan to replace the Iswara and the Wira. You would have seen my hints on my website posts, in Mudah.com.my, or on my Facebook status for one fleeting moment.

I now drive my wife’s Wira, while she drives the Altis. The Wira is very good on the corners, despite being sluggish and guzzles fuels.

In the true spirit of friendship, I feel that I need to do another eulogy for the green Iswara. Wait for it in my next posts.

Hahaha …. not so soon. Sell off Wira, no car to go to work lohh. Wait another 10 years when Yan Yan is bigger lar, then get an MPV….. hehehe

hmm…i have different thinking. I will get an MPV or 7 seater when my baby is still small…coz car seat la , stroller la will used up lots of space, especially going for holiday or balik kampung.
