To go where I have never been before! That certainly sounds exciting, especially now that I can bring my camera along for some landscape photography! My colleague Ivan recently bought himself a DSLR, a 450D, so I’ll be glad to have another photo-kaki to join me.

PC Fair Chicks
Posted: 5th August 2009 by Jacky Yong in Silly meTags: 2009, babes, booth, girls, PC Fair
I love PC Fair. Not because of the PC parts at bargain price (sometimes prices at Low Yat can be much lower than in PC Fair!), but because of the babes. This year I did not intend to go there. I had nothing to buy in particular. But I went anyway, Cai Hong wanted to […]
Yeap, I am being conned, live, as I am writing this blog. It all happened last week, when I got an unanimous call from a lady with this thick southern China mandarin accent. She claims that she is from a company based in HK named Hong Ji. She gave me this coupon number AG9826 that […]
How I kept myself updated with my friends
Posted: 14th July 2009 by Jacky Yong in Computers, Silly meTags: Blogroll, feed, RSS
I knew all along that there was a thing called RSS-feed. But little did I know that it would be that useful to keep in touch with my friends. Yup, RSS. Rich Site Summary. Sounds very simple really. A standardized XML format that is exposed to the outside world for all to see, and feed […]
Malaysia is going to another Dark Age
Posted: 9th July 2009 by Jacky Yong in Current Affairs, Silly meTags: education, English, malaysia
*Sigh* ….. the worst has happened. Against the will of Tun Dr Mahathir, and legions of parents around Malaysia, the stupid Muyiddin has announced that Science and Math be taught back in Malay. This is a 180 degree turn back towards the prehistoric era. The Malaysian education system is going the way of the dodo. […]
This was during the school holidays in 2008, specifically Monday 17 November 2008. We went there on Cai Hong’s car, because we had a lot of things to bring along and using the Wira with the huge tank at the back will not do. Cai Hong had a ticket for free stay at their bungalow, […]
Rainy days in KL

The sky is grumbling, and the clouds are threatening to release its contents upon earth, reducing us mere mortals to a big mess of traffic jam soon. The sun is still shining angrily upon the vast buildings of concrete around me, but soon it will be no more. The time is 4:26 pm. The view […]
Sexual discrimination – against men!
Posted: 24th June 2009 by Jacky Yong in Silly meTags: discrimination, sexual
Can’t believe that this is happening at this time of the century! Sexual discrimination against the darker (opposite of fairer lar) sex. Don’t believe me? Today it was raining heavily. I was out shopping in Low Yat for a small retractable umbrella for easier storage in my bag. Nowadays I car pool with Mei Fen […]
Yeap, for lack of a better term to describe it, I have been sold. In chinese, or more appropriately, Cantonese, it’s literally called “sold piglets”, 卖猪仔. I’m now enslaved under ********** Malaysia located in the centre of the Golden Triangle, Kuala Lumpur, in Menara **********. (Name hidden for the sake of my client, but you […]
Aside from being a wedding photographer in Sibu, we also went on a sight-seeing tour around town. At that time Kit Yan did not follow us, and my wife was 7 month into her pregnancy with Hui Yan. 7th December 2007 David and his parents came to the airport to pick us up. We stayed […]
